Christmas Morning

We had a wonderful Christmas this year!  As Emmy gets older, Christmas gets more and more fun.  She was so excited to see the presents Santa brought her.  Christmas day was spent hanging out at home and at my parent's house.  We had a great time!  I love Christmas time - my favorite time of the year.  It just doesn't last long enough!

We always get PJ's on Christmas Eve.  The girls are wearing their Christmas PJ's.  It's a fun tradition!  Grammy bought them this year.  The ones Emmy has on are just like the ones my Grandma Hansen used to make for my sister and I.  Ella got a pair just like Emmy's.  It was a blast from the past for Lindsey and I!
Here is our Christmas morning in pictures:

The loot:  Santa always leaves the presents on the couch in piles for each person.  Emmy's pile is the closest one, Kate's is the one closest to the tree.

Emmy got this tiara for one of her friends for her birthday and really wanted one.  Santa was nice enough to remember that she wanted one :)

As you can see, she's glad Santa remembered to get one for her

Emmy loves the Barbie movies.  So fun for mom and dad . . .

Emmy really wanted a Princess Tiana doll.  She was so excited when she opened her Princess Tiana!  She also got the Prince Naveen doll.

Kate hung out in her swing while Emmy opened her presents.  She's such a good girl!

Kate mostly got clothes (it's a good thing Santa knows just what she needs . . .) but she did get this cute little stuffed animal that plays music.

And daddy surprised Emmy and mom with this last gift.  What a fun surprise!
