I had to blog about some things that Emmy is doing lately. I. JUST. LOVE. HER. She makes me laugh and smile all day, everyday. She is getting so smart and I don't want to forget what she is like at this age, 19 months.
She sings all the time. I love it when she does it! Her newest song is "we're happy" sung over and over again. I need to get it on camera! I'll definitely have to post it, because it is hillarious.
She always says, "what happened?" She drops a toy and she says it. She throws her food off her highchair tray and she says it. I make a noise and she says it. She seriously says it ALL THE TIME! Again, it's hillarious!
Her new favorite movie is Finding Nemo. I ask her if she wants to watch a movie and she doesn't say "yes", she says, "Momo" which is her word for Nemo. So cute!
Everywhere we go, people ALWAYS tell us how adorable she is. It's because of her beautiful face, her gorgeous curly hair, and her awesome personality. She has the attention of everyone wherever we go!
Since it's summertime and we've been outside a lot, her skin is getting so dark! It's gorgeous! I wish my skin was like that, but luckily she has her daddy's dark skin. She's not as dark as her dad, but she's not as white as me - she's a perfect combination of the two of us!
In the morning, if she's in bed with me (Jake usually leaves for work before we even get up), she'll lean over and just start giving me kisses. I'll pretend like I'm asleep and she'll just keep doing it, on the lips. It's one of my favorite things :) And she wakes up around 8 or 8:30 everyday (thank you!!! It used to be about 7:00 but she's been sleeping in lately and I love it) and takes a 2 hour nap around 12:30 or 1:00 (random to post about, but just things that I want to remember . . .)
She LOVES the daycare at the gym! Luckily it's the only daycare she goes to. She loves it because of the great girls that work there. They all love her so much and everyday they tell me how cute she was that day.
If someone asks her a question, like "who wants milk?", she'll yell, "I do!" She's really talking like crazy these days.
She feeds herself everything now - cold cereal and all. She's a pro with a spoon and can eat the whole bowl of cereal, cleans the whole bowl, every last cheerio!
Our little girl is growing up and getting so big. We love her so much - she brings so much joy into our lives!!! What did we do before we had her? Life must have been pretty boring :)
